Kelly Brophy

Kelly is a recent graduate of Regis University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. She brings a warm, grounded, and attuned presence to her sessions, and she uses a person-centered approach to create space for clients to show up just as they are. Kelly works with individuals, couples, and families to build more meaningful relationships with themselves and with the people in their lives.

Kelly is trained in EMDR, and she is currently training in PACT therapy for couples. Her approach centers attachment, and she uses the therapeutic relationship to help clients to experience better self-understanding, new ways of navigating relationships, and clarity to move through life more authentically.

Before becoming a therapist, Kelly was a speech-language pathologist. She worked with children and families to navigate communication differences and feeding challenges. Kelly brings with her a strong knowledge of child development, and an awareness of the unique challenges facing all parents, and especially parents of differently developing children.

Outside of her work, Kelly can almost always be found moving in the mountains. She loves running long distances, backcountry skiing, rock climbing, and gravel cycling. She enjoys working with mountain athletes who are struggling with identity, life transitions, injury, grief, and loss. On rest days, Kelly can be often be found sipping coffee in her living room and snuggling her elderly dog.
