Mason Smith
Mason Smith (he/him) is a graduate student at Naropa University in the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program and expects to graduate in August 2027. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a certified yoga teacher. Before beginning his clinical training, Mason spent 15 years working in public affairs, community organizing, and public policy.
Mason works with children, teens, adults, and couples. He is especially interested in supporting LGBTQ+ clients, as well as people navigating life transitions or seeking a deeper understanding of themselves. Mason draws on present-moment awareness and the connection between mind and body. He creates a supportive space for collaborative work that honors each client’s innate capacity for healing.
Outside of the office, Mason enjoys trail running with his shepherd, practicing yoga and meditation, and spending time in nature.
Mason is under the supervision of Judy Innes, MA, LPC, ACS, LPC #3954.
