Psychotherapy and Training Center
Erin Schneider
Erin Schneider earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Hofstra University in 2003 and is currently a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Regis University, graduating in August 2027.
Erin believes therapy should be a place where people feel seen, understood, and accepted. She strives to create a therapeutic space where clients do not have to explain, defend, or hide parts of themselves. Erin enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families and is especially passionate about providing affirming care for neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQIA+ clients, and those navigating the impacts of trauma, particularly childhood and relational trauma.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in the belief that healing begins by understanding the whole person within the context of their relationships, identities, strengths, and lived experiences. Her areas of clinical interest include relational work, attachment, neurodiversity-affirming care, childhood and relational trauma, and experiential, somatic, and systems-based approaches to healing.
When she is not working or studying, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and pets, exploring Colorado's mountains, and continually learning through books, professional training, and new experiences.
Erin is under the supervision of Mary Agnes Beggs, Ph.D., LMFT, MFT.0000864
