Julian Bost
Julian Bost earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2017. Julian Bost is a graduate student at Naropa University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program (with a Mindfulness-based Transpersonal focus) and will graduate in May 2027. Julian is also pursuing an IFS Foundations Certification through the IFS Institute. Julian is additionally certified as a Psychedelic Sitter through the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness. Julian is interested in using somatic wisdom to guide the therapeutic process and believes in a holistic approach aimed at wholeness when working with clients. Julian has years of experience working with children and teenagers in outdoor settings and believes that helping them connect with nature leads to a healing connection to self. He is excited to provide play therapy during his internship. He also has years of experience studying modern pain science, and how a new understanding of pain leads to more effective healing approaches for chronic pain. He will begin pursuing a certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy during his internship. Julian is also passionate about couples’ therapy and is excited to train in PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy). Additionally, Julian is fluent in Spanish and is excited to serve the Spanish-speaking community. Outside of the office, Julian loves hiking with his Border Collie, Drake, and singing at open mics around Boulder with his guitar. He also enjoys dancing, writing, playing sports, cold plunging, lifting weights, and spending time with his community.
