Lucia Wang

Lucia (Jingxuan) Wang is a recent graduate of Naropa University’s Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program. She brings a warm, playful, and culturally attuned presence to her sessions, integrating child-centered play therapy, EMDR, and DBT to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves and celebrate their uniqueness.

Originally from Beijing, China, Lucia has lived and traveled extensively throughout Asia. Her deep cross-cultural experiences inform her understanding of how cultural identity shapes the way we relate to ourselves and others.

She offers therapy in both English and Mandarin, and is especially passionate about working with BIPOC clients and those navigating the complexities of multiple identities.

Lucia works with children, families, couples, and individuals. She is trained in EMDR and Level 3 Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Her approach draws from attachment-based and trauma-informed practices, always with a deep respect for the wisdom clients already carry within them.

Outside the therapy room, Lucia finds joy in cooking meals from around the world, dancing to live music, hiking in nature, visiting art museums, and sharing laughter with loved ones.
