Miriam Kreykes

Miriam earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the College of William & Mary in 2017. Before beginning her clinical training, she worked as a federal consultant in Washington, DC, which deepened her understanding of how social systems, inequality and public policy shape our interior experience. Miriam is currently a graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Regis University and expects to graduate in May 2027.

She enjoys working with couples, families and individuals from a relational, systemic perspective with particular interest in Bowen Family Systems and Psychodynamic Therapy. Miriam is drawn to the long road of therapeutic work. She holds that empowerment emerges when people engage in honest, deliberate self-examination and, despite seeing the implications of change, still choose to pursue it. Outside of the office, Miriam loves to read, backpack and cycle, though she believes all of these are better when done slowly and with friends. She is a good parallel parker, a mediocre gardener and loves a hot take.
