Julie Dickson

Julie is a graduate student in the Master of Clinical Counseling program at Adams State University, expected to graduate in May 2027. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and brings experience in education, entrepreneurship, and wellness coaching to her clinical work.
She takes a client-centered approach, using an integrated framework to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Julie’s areas of interest include supporting women and families through life transitions including changes in family dynamics, career shifts, parental struggles, health
challenges and diagnosis, shifts in religious belief systems, and grief. She also supports those affected by primary and secondary trauma and is passionate about helping clients build resilience through challenging times.
Outside of her clinical work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and children, family dinners, connecting with friends, movies, rest, and travel. Originally from Philadelphia, she has lived across the country and loves cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.
