Amy Baker

Amy Baker (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC.0021051) who holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University. Recognized for her warmth and mindful humor, Amy utilizes a person-centered approach that incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She focuses on supporting adolescents and women at various life stages, employing methods like play therapy and sand tray work in her sessions. Additionally, Amy has over 20 years of experience teaching yoga, which she often integrates into her therapeutic practice, and she values the benefits of walking outdoors with clients. In her personal life, Amy enjoys nature walks, exercising, reading poetry, seeing live music
with friends, and spending quality time with her adolescent daughters and husband.
